I thunk I've had enough. Just completing an all day Saturday project and now it's time to invoice. Well, I thought it was. I keep getting this message, "Thunking Spooler APIS from 32 to 64 Process has stopped working".
Now, I do some developing and I think that almost anybody can do better than that for an error message. Why can't they be like, "Hey, there's a problem with your Microsoft print driver process." Anyway, there was nothing online that seemed to help. Keep in mind that this would only happen on a 64 bit Vista OS and when I'm trying to print something from QuickBooks Enterprise 10.0 (the invoice or some other pdf). I tried an update from QuickBooks and it didn't solve the problem. So I thought I would go online and get the latest manual release for Enterprise 10 which was 6.0. Sure enough, I look in the "problems that this resolves" and there it is, the fix for the thunking issue! :-) I'm installing it as I write this and am a little excited....
.... Well, I installed the update and it didn't work. I will find out if Intuit has any other plans for a fix and get it posted ASAP. Please let me know if you have any solutions to this problem.

Well, I figured it out. I installed another printer today and when I removed it the problem went away. So now all I have to do is get the correct driver (64-bit) for my new printer and it should be good to go.
