Enter in YTD Payroll data the old way ...

Do you remember when you could enter payroll data into QuickBooks through a wizard that was simple to use and quick? Well, it's still in QuickBooks and here is how to find it:

Simply click on "Help/About".
Click "Ctrl" + "Alt" + "Y"

That's it! Now enter your YTD payroll. No fuss. Make sure the tell the program how you want to treat liabilities and expenses, etc... For most companies you would want to select, "Do Not Affect Accounts" until you get to the liabilities actually present. At that point you would select, "Affect liability and expense accounts, but not the bank account".
