Point of Sale 9.0

QuickBooks Point of Sales 9.0 has been a great way to get your retail store organized and profitable. For one, the inventory tracking has drastically increased the ability for most retailers to put more marketable products on their shelves. Instead of simply remembering how well products sell, you can now better determine exactly what you should stock based on these two reports:

Inventory Turn: Since version 8.0, POS has included a very helpful report that allows the retailer to see the amount of inventory bought and sold within a given period of time that is set by the user. Below is an example of an inventory turn report.

Ratings: Another measure of how well your inventory is selling is the ratings column in the item list. This provides a quick look at which items are great sellers vs those that are not. The idea is to trim your inventory down on items that aren't selling so well and stock more items that are sold well.

Images: that can be used for POS and your website: That's right, you can use up to two images (AKA Profiles) in the POS, item description, and your short description from your POS system on your website. If you have a boat-load of images, simply build an Excel file that includes all your items and the image name for each image in a column. Please refer to the attached template.
